QlikMaps for Multilayer: Overview
QlikMaps 2.1 adds true multi-layer support, from QlikMaps objects, WMS layers, and Tile (WMTS) layers.
NOTE: The Multilayer object may not work correctly when creating both the Multilayer object and the source objects are created in the AccessPoint client. It is recommended to use the Desktop client to create and modify QlikMaps objects.
Source object layers
You can reference up to 5 Points objects and 5 Polygon objects to add them as source object layers. This essentially brings in the source object and displays it as a toggleable layer inside the Multilayer object.
WMS layers
You can reference up to 5 custom WMS layers with custom popups. Each WMS layer will be displayed as a toggleable layer inside the Multilayer object, and clicking on the map will bring up the related popup.
NOTE: The correct popup will only display while the layer is toggled on and is the only WMS or Tile (WMTS) layer toggled on.
NOTE: Because you may be relying on publicly-available WMS servers, data availability is not a guarantee. Likewise, some servers provide HTTPS connections while others are only HTTP; this may cause issues in some environments that do not allow content from mixed HTTP and HTTPS servers.
Tile (WMTS) layers
You can reference up to 5 custom Tile (WMTS) layers with custom popups. Each Tile (WMTS) layer will be displayed as a toggleable layer inside the Multilayer object, and clicking on the map will bring up the related popup.
NOTE: The correct popup will only display while the layer is toggled on and is the only WMS or Tile (WMTS) layer toggled on.
NOTE: Because you may be relying on publicly-available Tile/WMTS servers, data availability is not a guarantee. Likewise, some servers provide HTTPS connections while others are only HTTP; this may cause issues in some environments that do not allow content from mixed HTTP and HTTPS servers.
