How do I use KML or Shp Lines in QlikMaps?

Lines must be in WKT format to work in QlikMaps. It is easy to export a KML/Shapefile to WKT from within QGIS

  1. Load the source shp/kml file in to QGIS.
  2. Right-click on the layer and select “Save as”
  3. Change the format to .CSV
  4. Change the geometry to “AS_WKT”
  5. Make sure you are using EPSG 4326 / WGS 84 coordinate system
